enkay Posted July 19, 2016 Share Posted July 19, 2016 Having used FSX for many years and am now looking into X-plane however for the GPS map on FSX (shift + 3) there does not seem to be a similar way to show this on X-plane. RatRace Posted July 19, 2016 Share Posted July 19, 2016 I'm not sure what the problem is. Clicking on the GPS display in the cockpit brings up a close-up window of the instrument. You can move that around if you like. Clicking the display again closes the window. The default X-Plane 430 GPS works like the real thing (more or less), and includes an admittedly small moving map. Use the "RNG" button to zoom in or out, and the "CLR" button the change the level of detail. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
