So I need a control style for star citizen, X-planes, war thunder and any other flight sim that catches my eye. I heard the flight yokes aren't really for snappy fast moments like those required in a fog fight. Is this true? What control type should I get and I am on a budget here $170 is too much. PhantomTweak Posted May 28, 2016 Share Posted May 28, 2016 To me, and this purely a personal opinion forged by learning on a stick, Airplanes are flown by a stick, CARS are driven with a wheel (yoke). And never the twain shall meet. To me, a stick is much more intuitive, the plane goes where the hand goes. Once again, purely a personal opinion, and there are many who disagree with me.
