AI Aircraft

Usually, there would be a readme file with the AI aircraft that will tell you.

You want to extract the aircraft and place in the aircraft folder.

You should use Editvoicepack and make sure you have all the callsigns, manufactures, etc and update the airlines.cfg file I think it's called. Editvoicepack is what will make the sim's ATC pronounce the aircraft, etc.

If I download an AI airplane, can I put it in the WoA?

Not sure exactly what you are asking here.

Are you asking if you can add a livery to a WoAI aircraft folder?

If so, the answer is yes.

One thing to watch out for though. Often the readme will include the text to add to the aircraft.cfg and it will look something like...

[fltsim.X] //change X to the next sequential number

...

If you do add a livery to a WoAI aircraft, be sure to remove what I posted in bold.

If you do not remove it, that text will create problems the next time you run the WoAI installer and it wants to add liveries to that folder.

If you are wanting to add a different plane to a WoAI flightplan, it can be done with a bit of work.

If that is what you want to do, let us know and we will show you how.

Once you have manually altered a WOAI install, you are saddled with it.

Any subsequent WOAI installer updates will rewrite the flightplans (and probably source aircraft) and so lose your edits.

Best to create a separate little traffic file for your custom (Non-WOAI) plane.
