pilot582
Hi Guys, I just upgraded from FSX to FSX Steam, and somehow on this version i am having this issue, when I select any aircraft any airport any active runway, when it loads and I am on the active runway (e.g. runway 22R) I am getting this annoying announcer, announcing "on runway 22R flaps", same when I am on final approach, I get the same announcement "approaching runway--- flaps, or its says to high or to low". somehow it recognizes whichever runway number am about to land anywhere in the world. Anyone can help me t remove this feature? Thanks
mrzippy
This is a new one! To confirm.....this is an auditory announcement that you are hearing and not "Flying Tips" appearing in the upper corner of your screen? No other 3rd party software besides FSX-SE running? Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
evm
This sounds like RAASpro from FS2Crew is active. But that is a separate installer, so you should know that it is in there!? The only other way is if you installed the Aerosoft Airbus Extended, RAAS is included in that product as well (but should only be active in the Airbus, unless you unlocked it). If it is RAAS, you should be able to turn it off in the Addon menu in the sim.
