FEX or REX

Hi Folks,

Looking to take advantage of some of the sales while - finally - getting my feet wet with FSX and/or P3D...

Probably been asked and answered - just looking for advice between FEX and REX... Honestly - I've never really been a fan of REX from the screenshots I've seen - the clouds seemed overly done with hard edges and the sky seemed a bit too blue... Now I see they have a new addition called Soft Clouds that may fix one of my gripes...

I always used and liked FE in FS9 - but - REX seems to offer a better price now...

I'm assuming g I need ASN to drive my skies properly... No textures with ASN now - right ?

Thoughts ?

Regards,

Scott

Hi Folks,

After a bunch of reading - looks like FEX doesn't work with P3D or the steam version of FSX... Looks like the sale is over with REX - missed it - ahh - maybe next year...

Regards,

Scott

As of today, PC Aviator still has REX on sale:

Essentials-it has the weather engine

Texture Direct does not

It says 9 AM Eastern Time on 12/1/15 it will end

I tried to get on their site yesterday and it was down

Maybe that is why it is extended-better hurry over and get it

I also tried to send you a PM and it came back that your in-box is full and needs to be cleaned out
