ionfresko
Hi guys, another video! I try the Dash 8 from FJS for the first time, flying from Bromma, in Stockholm (ESSB) to Bergen in Norway (ENBR). Enjoy!
RatRace
A joy to watch indeed. I was particularly impressed by the reddish skies. Must be a Scandinavian phenomenon :)
ionfresko
Thanks RatRace! As to the lights, in this case I don't think there is anything particular Scandinavian about it. At dawn, just before the sun goes down on the horizon, you get a pallett of different reddish colours pretty much anywhere in the world, it seems. I'm not sure, but it also seems as if the reddish colour is there no matter what skycolours to choose in SkyMaxx v3. At the same time, I do think there is something special about the skycolours up north due to the angle of the sun. In the vinter it's always low (and it is never high), for example, which maybe creates different skycolours also during dawn and sunrise.
RatRace
You're absolutely right of course, red skies are pretty much a universal thing. But I think I read somewhere that "the more atmosphere sunlight has to pass through, the redder the sky". Given the relatively high latitude of Scandinavia, it would seem logical (to me at least) that the skies would be redder. Not sure though that SkyMaxx shows different effects at different latitudes, but I wouldn't be surprised if it does. At any rate, keep those vids coming :)
