Yep, got one this morning. I will not click on any embedded links but will go to their website to see whats happening. Could just be a computer glitch after an upgrade or something. Will also check the serial number against my originals.

Hi Bob,

There is a thread on the FlyTampa forum - so others are seeing it too... I sent an email to FlyTampa as well... I haven't checked to see if the codes are actually valid... I've received three so far - my last a few minutes ago... Concur - shouldn't click on anything in the email....

Regards,

Scott

Hi Bob,

Heard back from Martin at FlyTampa - it's an official update from FlyTampa:

================================

Hi Scott,

Correct :

They are updated versions for P3Dv3 and FSX. I couldn't handle the

amount of email requests, so we had to just send it automatically to

all existing costumers.

No new charges are being made

cheers,

martin

Hi Jim,

Thanks... Always a pleasure to see you still here... I've been on a long break - lol - probably been more than a year - been firing up the old sim again a few times lately - looks like FS9 has some issues with Win10 - might have to finally make the leap to P3D... We'll see what shakes out... I'll have to poke around and see what you've been up to - as your modeling skills have always been top shelf....

Regards,

Scott

Initially I thought that either FlyTampa or BMT Micro had been hacked. Fortunately I got an immediate reply from Fly Tampa regarding the mass mailing. Felt more at ease about it then.
