Splash Screen at Startup

When I start FS2002 I am able to use all the great splash screens however the screen consistently is covered with the box "completing setup - generating scenery file indices". How do I hide that box so I can enjoy the splash screens while loading?

Hmm..are you making scenery changes all the time? Your problem could be a bit deeper than not seeing the splashes. (BTW, search for Ian Ritchie on Flightsim.com</shameless plug>)
