Hey everyone,

A few days ago I flew LAS-DEN on Spirit Airlines. It was a business trip but I had to make room for some fun, so I decided to make this trip report. Enjoy!

It was a hectic start to the week, the kids starting school and me having to leave on a business trip Tuesday. I woke up at 3 in the morning  and had the taxi pick me up at 4.

It's a loooooong way to the airport from my home, but since the roads were clear we arrived around 4:20. All I had was a carry-on and my suitcase (I still had to pay some $25 for the carry-on....) so I went straight to security, which was the usual.

Soon enough we were boarding! I made my way to the rear of the aircraft. After the safety briefing and all that jazz, we lifted off to beautiful views of the Valley, the street lights twinkling. At the edge of the city:

FAs came down the aisles selling beverages - even water costs money - snacks and duty free. I didn't get anything and instead turned my attention to the sunrise outside.

Eventually it was pretty bright outside:

As we approached Denver the terrain below started changing from rugged desert to mountainous greenery, a pleasant change!

And before we knew it this short 1.5 hour flight was coming to an end. Beginning the descent over the forest:

Unfortunately I was on the wrong side of the plane to see Denver city. Still the views were pretty nice with lots of brownish green fields.

You can tell this is Frontier/United territory:

The taxi to the gate was long, but eventually we were at the gate. As we disembarked I thought Why not visit the cockpit? I knew it would appear a bit awkward for a businessman to want to see the cockpit, but the pilot welcomed me in. Snatched a pic and then I was off!

I was too tired to cover the return flight, but I did find and take pics of the FI 752 and the LH 744. The LH 747 looked so beautiful at the gate.....
