Please help me. this is frustrating The NTDLL.DLL crash doesn't necessarily mean it's caused by the scenery. It could be AI aircraft settings too high, water settings too high, etc. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
evm Posted August 27, 2015 Share Posted August 27, 2015 This can have any number of reasons unfortunately. It often is attributed to FSX settings being too high. The fix that is often suggested, is rebuilding your FSX.CFG (rename the existing one to something else and just start FSX again - it will build a new one). And if a slider is set too high is entirely dependant on what system you are running FSX on and what addons you have. Is this default AI or addon? ntdll.dll is a system library managing all sorts of things for the C++ runtime FSX is built upon. Some say the error is memory related, others say that it is an invalid call of some function or other. If you rebuild FSX.cfg and the error is gone, you know it was one of the sliders or a tweak you applied. Get everything back to your old config one piece at a time. After each change, check if the error reappears. This is the only way to pinpoint the cause. But if the error persists, even with a vanilla config, then something is wrong with the scenery and you should probably reinstall it. But AFAIK the FlyTampa Dubai does not use any additional DLL, so this is unlikely. But I will have to check on that tomorrow to make sure. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
