LouisKB
Hello all, Sorry to badger the forums with yet another specs query, but as I'm spending a considerable amount I need to be sure! So, would the following specs be able to run Prepar3d at 30+ fps, with add-ons such as Aerosoft Airbus X, UK2000 scenery and possibly REX 4? Processor (CPU) AMD FX-6300 Six Core CPU (3.50GHz/8MB CACHE/AM3+) Motherboard ASUS® M5A97 R2.0 (DDR3, USB3.0, 6Gb/s) Memory (RAM) 8GB KINGSTON DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz (1 x 8GB) Graphics Card 2GB AMD RADEON™ R7 250 - DVI,HDMI,VGA - DX® 11 1st Hard Disk 1TB 3.5" SATA-III 6GB/s HDD 7200RPM 32MB CACHE 2nd Hard Disk (For Prepar3d) 120GB SAMSUNG 650 SSD, SATA 6Gb/s (upto 540MB/sR | 450MB/sW) Water Cooled. vgbaron
No. Really suggest Intel/Nvidia combination rather than AMD. Your CPU should be able to clock to at least 4.0. mallcott
What Vic says. AMD CPU and Radeon GPU are the worst choice for P3D. SSD for P3D makes sense, but will you fill up a 120 gig? Start adding aircraft and scenery and that will get stuffed, real quick.
