MdMax
Hello, Although you're using a genuine Microsoft product (FS2004) with a genuine Microsoft operating system (Windows 10), you'll not get any support from Microsoft for this: http://www.winbeta.org/news/windows-10-wont-run-games-with-certain-older-cd-rom-drms In some countries, you can use a patch for FS2004, or can use another operating system, or you can install a newer flight simulator. mgh
Or alternatively set up your system so that you are an administratror! Obvious you will not get Micosoft support for a 120 year old game - why should anyone expect it?
MdMax
Or alternatively set up your system so that you are an administratror! How can this work with Windows 10 if the OS doesn't support the DRM inside FS2004 ? http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/142009-Windows-10-Wont-Run-Grand-Theft-Auto-III-or-The-Sims-Thanks-To-Securom-and-SafeDisc-DRM OpenStreetMap - Ubuntu GNU/Linux - http://ggka.online.fr/fr.png

MdMax
In your link I could find this: FS9 failed to load at all until I replaced the FS9 exe file with the no CD Version, it then loaded fine. Does this mean that 33% in this poll are not using the genuine version of FS2004 ? This is what I called a "patch for FS2004", but this is not legal in the USA: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Millennium_Copyright_Act Running it "as an administrator" will not help if it's a genuine version of FS2004. As the FSF said, Digital Restriction Managements are defective by design: https://defectivebydesign.org/ Happy flying. :pilot: OpenStreetMap - Ubuntu GNU/Linux - http://ggka.online.fr/fr.png
