Why is Always here Always autocorrected to Always? (with a capital letter.)

(well, except in the title of this post I noticed....)

Is this site sponsered by Always or something? Or is Always Always spelled with a capital letter in (american) english?

as Always, thanks in advance,

Never noticed it, always curious! Didn't notice any auto correction to my always! I did notice that autocorrection was auto corrected to auto correction.

Exsqueeze me, it's spellcheck futzing up my system!

Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!  ✈️

I'm thinking maybe the powers that be put this in especially for (against) idiots like me, that use this word to much when discussing FSX.

To serve as a warning, because in FSX things are rarely "Always" true.

There is usually some convaluted way to get around them.

Then again, "never" does not autocorrect to "Never ".....

Thing is, it makes mesages look messy sometimes. I would like to be able to switch the autocorrect thing off.

Judging by my large amounts of typo's it's not really doing much for me anyway, lol.

Are you trying to confuse me? If you are it's working great.

Or do you mean your "always" does not get corrected to Always.

I typed autocorrection. (directly on the forum, not in notepad or something) and nothing happened to that.

I can always see what this is...

==============

The above was a test, and there was no attempt at saying it was spelled wrong. It weent in just exactly as I typed it. The spellcheck (at least on my system) uses a dictionary on my system, not on fs.com.

Ah! thanks Larry.

Now I need to find out how to fix that...

I just did a quick test, and it does not happen in Notepad, Notepad Plus, or Open Office.

I think that's all of them.

Do you have any idea where I should look for this?

Got it, it is the autocorrect setting in my browser. (Internet Explorer 11).

I just changed it to "English, UK" and no more capitalisation of "allways", the word autocorrection is not corrected either.

I assume MrZippy is using "English, US" and that's why he sees that. (He prolly uses a different browser too.)

Thanks guys, fixed within the hour!

Btw, I was annoyed by this thing for months!

But I didn't dare ask. I thought I might get responses like: "don't use it then" or "live with it" or "nobody knows....", I thought the thread might even turn ugly.

So glad I finally said something!

You all rock, thanks again:)
