Shalom and greetings all my pals,

Here is nice early morning inter-Alaskan commuter flight era 1970 from Alaska's PABR Wiley Post–Will Rogers Memorial Airport located in town of Barrow situated on the Chukchi Sea at a latitude of 71.29°N that is the farthest north of any in US territory to PAFA Fairbanks International Airport three miles southwest of the central business district of Fairbanks, Alaska.

Nice sunrise during early morning commuter cruising from Barrow to Fairbanks

Nice shots, as always. I flew to PAFA (not all the way to Barrow!) to 'shoot' the Northern lights in March. It was cold enough for me in the Fairbanks area. Many years ago, I rode on one of the multi-stops between SEA and ANC, lots of fun. This latest trip was on 737-800s and 900s.

As usual, Aharon, beautiful shots! Also as usual, FROSTY! BRRRR! :D

I got to stop in Barrow a few hours when my squadron flew to Iwakuni on a DC-10 for deployment. Looked exactly as cold as your shots, too! Would you believe they have a huge (stuffed) polar bear in a glass case in the middle of the concourse? Looks scary, till you get close to it, then it just looks a bit ragged and moth-eaten and dusty. Kinda sad to see such a gorgeous animal like that...

Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again!

The colours in here are amazing. Nice airplane, too. Probably the Tinmouse 737-200, isn't it? Looks like it.

Dbauder, awesome photo that you took and you are lucky to fly around Alaska!!

Phantomtweak, Never knew that you flew in air force planes and went to Barrow. It is awesome!! And thanks for explanations.

Cavalierjan, you are correct it is TinMouse 737-200 version 2.
