Hi,

I have FTX global, vector, OpenLC and FTX Tress.

When I Installed the 3 addons (Global, Vector and OpenLc) it uses FTX Central 1.

and I get an Error "terrain.CFG", And When I install the FTX tress then it is working with FTX central 2 and No error with FTX Central 2.

But it is made problems With my Simulator's terrain... it is looking disgusting...

What to do? Does have any way to Install it with FTX central 2 from Beginning? Without problems?

Thank you guys!

You need to ask this in the FTX support forum. However, before you do - start FTX#2 switch global on and off and see if that sorts things out.

NO that's not the problem.

You need FTX Central 2 which is included with the latest file libraries. You don't mention that you have installed the libraries, Do so.

What you haven't done is use it to select FTX Global as `live`

Do that, and report back.

No, do it NOW.

FTX Central V2 will pop up after the libraries are installed, you click on Global to make it Apply Group, and it will fix the errors.

It clearly states in every installer that the libraries must be installed last.

  • 3 weeks later...

Not to hijack this thread but I'm in a similar situation.

I installed P3Dv2 and it flies great, I then tried to install FTX NA GOLD Northern California and it didnt complete the instal or gets the following error anyway " Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. if you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit, the application will close immediately.

COULD NOT FIND FILE C:\Program files(86x)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3Dv2\terrain.cfg

I have only installed this one item. Should I be installing a patch first? I have no P3d folder under Lockheed Martin jus P3Dv2.

Thank you.

Sound as if your installer is for an older version of P3D. In one of the last versions (2.5?) LM moved the config files away from their usual place.
