I have WinME (god help me! :-roll)
and its the same for WinXP, it comes with a built in WinZip utility and I have found no need to download WinZip, although maybe for what you use it for you may need it...

XP HAS BUILT IN SUPPORT FOR ZIP.

but it's a pain sometimes when it want to open a file when downloading from internet, instead of giving you the "save as" dialog...
