I have started working on a CS-1 Stallion by SimSamuari and have posted some pictures in the Gallery. Please swing by and let me know what you think. Thank you

I've recently started building the same thing - we're probably at about the same level of progress right now. I don't get a lot of time to work on mine though. I started a blog to document the experience -- https://flightsimathome.wordpress.com/. I'll be interested to see how you get on with yours. Good luck!

I checked out your blog and I really like the progress you done have so far. I have to figure out how to make my pictures smaller so I can load them. I placed them in the gallery but I am sure how to link them. I hope to paint everything this weekend and start cutting out the panel for the sides and top. I will post more pictures when I am complete.

Looking good ... I like your idea of having the switch panel on the lower left, it's a little more realistic, but then I also like the look of having all the Saitek stuff in one stack. I'm focusing on panel layout right now so I will play with both ideas. I also agree, the yoke is better mounted behind the panel - I'd be interested in how you add an extension to it (i.e. interested in stealing your idea!).

itmustbesid- I have laid everything out on the kitchen table and it appears that it will work the way I want it to. The yoke will also be higher than what most people do but it should reflect the correct position as in the plane. I think it will work out perfectly behind the instrument panel. It appears the monitor will be very close to the top of the Saitek yoke case. We will see.

I have a poster of the C-172 in my home office that I keep deferring to for orientation. If I get everything cut out this weekend I will post a picture in my blog.

I just purchased the aluminum for my instrument panel, I was originally going with wood but have changed my mind after the Flightsimcon 2015 conference. I think the conference is going to be more expensive than the flight and hotel there ;-)
