Dual monitors, with a Saitek X52 joystick w/ rudder pedals for controls. It's all powered by a Thermaltake TR2 Gold 700W power supply sitting in a Thermaltake Chaser MK-1 case.

Beautiful! That was always one of the more aesthetically pleasing early war birds. I remember them flying over as a kid, great sounds, too. Very nice post, Adam, although I did expect a carrier landing.

Darrenvox , answer to your question is F for FIGHTER 3 ,for the 3rd fighter design , and F for Grumman , so hence F3F , also if you see something with a J at the end the J stands for NORTH AMERICAN . Here is another example , SBD-1 would be the first version or sub-type Scout Bomber built by Douglas.

Another example close to my heart: My old Navy airplane was a P2V-5FS. The V was for Lockheed (maybe L was already taken? No clue how they got V for Lockheed.) So it was the 2nd Patrol bomber made by Vockheed :p . 5F was the sub-type (added two jets to the recips) and S was for anti-Submarine. Shortly before I left the Navy, all those traditional designations were "rethunk" and my beloved P2V-5FS became the SP2E. Blargh.
