An Awesome Shot and Some Wonderful News (regarding my headaches!)

Hey all--

 

Just wanted to say, I think my problem with my headaches have finally been solved. After a trip to the Eye doctor a couple of weeks ago, I had a new MRI done. No one for five years have picked up on a cyst that was forming in back of my eye causing the pressure. No wonder no meds worked for it. It wasn't Migraines. I just have to have it drained out now. That should stop the pressure. 5 years of needless suffering, not driving for 3 because it effected my balance just enough -

 

I can't wait to get my life back. Sorry if I seemed like an ass alot of times but it was due to the constant pain mostly. Now I can get my life back. I intend to live it up this summer, that's for sure, and never under estimate the joy of being able to live life freely again.

 

Thanks for being my friends here with me beyond these past 5 years all - I intend to get very active in the sim again after too when I can tolerate noise more - expect to see things from me again very shortly. John, I don't personally know you but with your story I'm really happy for you that your pain went away. Thanks god and your doctors.

Every time I read that a member have a health issue, I feel sorry for him and wish that he gets better.

Now you can have fun with FSX :)

Thank you so much everyone - these past 5 years have been a dreadful experience for sure - I remember sitting at home literally holding my head because of the pain and nothing was happening to help make it better from anything I used from doctors for medications. Again, Thanks so much for my true friends here these past 5 years, you certainly helped to try to make everything a bit better just by posting the screen shots to enjoy when I couldn't fly much.

 

I am definitely living life to it's fullest now, and going to really take it all in from this point forward.

Amen to that! Here in England I don't think there's a family in the land that hasn't experienced medical incompetence at some time or other, I could write a book about our family alone..;)

Remember everybody, nowadays THE INTERNET IS THE BEST DOCTOR IN TOWN because we can research any malady and join discussion groups of sufferers to compare notes etc, and end up knowing more about it than the quacks, and can keep tabs on whether they're giving us the right meds and treatment..:)

Incidentally my own head trouble is migraine which I've had on and off for the past 30 years, flashing neon lights in front of the eyes, blurred vision, nausea, splitting headache etc, but luckily a couple of paracetamols suppress the symptoms pretty good.

(PS- What triggers migraines is a mystery, I think in my case it might be if I have my TV or monitor screen too bright and contrasty, so I keep it on duller settings, just thought I'd mention it in case there are other migraine victims reading this.)

Thank you all! Scatterbrainkid, you might want to maybe get a glare screen for your monitor? That might help you out. (The privacy screens) Also, insist on an MRI. Get one done and see what comes up. You might be surprised.
