They all seem to be working properly for me--all to flight related products.

 Running FSX-SE on   Intel core i7-12700kf,  DDR4 16G,  Nvidia Geforce RTX3070 8gb6, 1tbm.2 pcie ssd,  on windows 11.

OK, at least I know that the links are being seen by others. I didn't know you can download FSX (No mention of Demo) for FREE!

UPDATE: If I scrolled down, the download said trial/ Demo version. Had me going for a short time!

Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!  ✈️

As it says on the top of that ad block "Ads by Yahoo". Yahoo is, of course, one of the biggest entities on the Internet, not some fly-by-night sleaze sending you to questionable web sites.

In order to pay the bills here we have to run ads, and it's becoming increasingly difficult to pay those bills as the hobby contracts with Microsoft leaving us. We run ads specifically for flightsim products as well as ads from Google and Yahoo. There should not be any unsafe ads seen here.

Tip: If you are on a web site that you like and want to support, click on the ads! Web sites only stay free to you because others, like ad agencies, are paying the bills.

That particular ad block is now asking me to select an age group, so the advertiser can show me a list of single women available in my area. Not exactly sleaze, but not very flightsim related either.

And of course, I couldn't find anything to my liking anyway :D

Charlie/Nels:

My question is how are the advertisers calculating my age? I'm getting ads for seniors although they are correct, it is just scary...

My question is how are the advertisers calculating my age?

By analyzing your search activity and tracking the things you look at on the Internet.

Don't worry about it, it is not personal. It happens to everyone and almost all of it is done automatically.

There is no analyst sitting at a monitor watching you.

I disagree! Young bucks are constantly getting offers to try things for free the porn sites haven't even thought of yet.

Since when does just going to a site (any site) make your computer be 'virus-riddled'? Does not compute.

Since many viruses and malicious programs have found ways to use security holes in browser plug-ins, such as Adobe Flash, to install themselves just by having the user load the infected page. This is part of what UAC is meant to catch. And this is also not limited to porn or shady websites. A number of more reputable sites have been infected over the years too.
