lnuss
Chances are good that no one has made such a one-off aircraft for the sim, so it doesn't surprise me that you can't find it. Larry N. pvarn
You might get a thrill visually, but operationally, there would be no difference in how the plane flies or is controlled in the sim. The concept of new advance aircraft with engines above the wing is being aggressively pursued by Boeing and NASA with blended wing lifting body designs. This is just a test bed to do so on a real live heavy aircraft in service. The 747 will never be used in service in this configuration. -Pv- 2 carrot salad, 10.41 liter bucket, electric doorbell, 17 inch fan, 12X14, 85 Dbm
il88pp
No luck. Found 8 747-sp in the library (no dash in keyw: 747 sp). And this one on flyawaysim. http://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/1736/fsx-star-777-boeing-747sp/ All only 4 engines though... Sorry. Interesting story/search, thanks. EDIT: keyword 747SP finds quite a few more. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
