You might get a thrill visually, but operationally, there would be no difference in how the plane flies or is controlled in the sim.

 

The concept of new advance aircraft with engines above the wing is being aggressively pursued by Boeing and NASA with blended wing lifting body designs. This is just a test bed to do so on a real live heavy aircraft in service. The 747 will never be used in service in this configuration.

They 'Photo-Shoped' that pylon engine on there. There is no such animal. It's a 'Gotcha' thing. Or not..

If you are interesed, you can get the Ekranoplan plane at http://www.virtavia.com/Freeware/ both for FS9 and FSX. When on the page ctrl+F for "Ekranoplan" to find it more quickly.
