lazorbeam Posted March 4, 2015 Share Posted March 4, 2015 I'm trying to do that mission but I can't seem to get the mixture right. I saved it at a certain point where I'm flying normally and I'm flying around 9000 ft following the mission compass to the next objective which takes me just over some mountains to get to it. After saved and came back to it, I went to climb and the speed dropped and I crashed so I'm wondering what I do with the mixture (I have the autopilot engaged as well). Do I need to stay inside the valleys and follow them around instead of flying by the compass or what? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mrzippy Posted March 4, 2015 Share Posted March 4, 2015 Don't have that Mission. What aircraft? Weather? If it's cold, do you have the Pitot Heat and Carb heat on? Bet you shouldn't be more that about 5,000 feet, so fly through the valleys. The Maule is a low and slow kinda plane. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! lazorbeam Posted March 5, 2015 Author Share Posted March 5, 2015 I'm running both heaters, but I was flying higher than 5 so that could've been it, plus flying over the mountains wasn't smart.
