wolf2
...in that the first time i tried it, it was so different that i couldn't decide whether i liked it or not. but over time, it grew on me. this is pretty different too, but i think i may get to like it. and at seven bucks, one can hardly go wrong. long day, very tired, no energy to do an in-depth study today, but here are some introductory shots. and accordingly, this departure is from cincinnati. http://i588.photobucket.com/albums/ss327/nonamedammit/blade%201.jpg http://i588.photobucket.com/albums/ss327/nonamedammit/blade%202.jpg http://i588.photobucket.com/albums/ss327/nonamedammit/blade%203.jpg http://i588.photobucket.com/albums/ss327/nonamedammit/blade%204.jpg Phil Colvin

azzaro
Nice to see the lifting body concept still has legs, er, wings. :D Be careful though, that's how Steve Austin got the fancy spare parts! — Bob [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] i7-7700 3.6GHz / GTX1660 6GB / 32GB RAM / 49" Samsung CHG90 / WIN10

adamb
Nice concept plane Phil, much like Bill's Avelina of a couple of years ago! :) Lot of stuff to mess around with, that's the fun part. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
wolf2
thanks larry, jan, bob, dan and adam! larry: yeah, five-way's good, i also used to get hot dogs smothered with it, and cheese and onions. jan: i think it may grow on me. bob: ah yes...steve austin: a man barely alive. gentlemen, we can fix his little red wagon. we can make him jump incredibly high - but always in slow motion, to the acccompaniment of this dopey wurlitzer music.... adam: yes, this thing's got a ton of custom bells and whistles in the cockpit, have hardly touched them yet. KCD
Nice shots! Me? I like two wings, doesn't matter if they are high or low, a conventional tail, could be single or twin, held together by a fuselage or two, landing gear, either trike or dragger, fixed or retractable. In other words, a normal, everyday airplane. Concept planes are for people who are far more adventurous. It's sort of like skydiving, I never was convinced that any airplane was created to be jumped out of unless circumstances dictated that it was absolutely necessary. But, that's just me.
