Simconect failed to load aircraft

I have just done my first two flights on VATSIM. For the first 10 minutes it was extremely hard to communicate with the controllers through privater that because every 10 seconds or so an error would pop up saying that Sim connect failed to load aircraft. All the other players were white airbus A321's I am using FSX steam edition. I installed the IVAO MTL library but it would only install to the original FSX. My steam edition however was able to identify the IVAO MTL since it asked me to allow access when I launched it. Sim connect still pops up this those errors and does not stop. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Dunno 'bout SimConnect, but FSX:SE should be able to use the IVAO MTL by adding a line to fsx.cfg (or fsx_se.cfg).
