LTCSZ
Here is my question: If I were to make a panel using FS Panel Studio for use on a touchscreen monitor, having lots of switches, push-buttons, etc, would it work in FS2004? I have been thinking of using a USB monitor that I have sitting around for the purpose of this "mini-panel"...I would appreciate any ideas you may have...Thanks, Steve in Kansas
StringBean
I have tried FS9 and FSX on my laptop with a touchscreen. It works, sort of. The click zones in a lot of gauges are too small for my fat fingers. Rotary knobs (radios) are all but impossible to operate. I quickly grew to hate the finger smudges all over the screen. So for toggles and push buttons it is OK. If you make custom gauges with big click zones, even better. If the only thing on the second monitor is gauges, or the smudges do not bother you, it should work just fine. In reality, touching a switch on a touch screen monitor is no different than clicking on it with a mouse cursor. FS does not know the difference. peace, the Bean WWOD---What Would Opa Do?
