Hi,

I know there are a lot of topics on this and it is caused by Windows 8. I tried deactivating power management in Device Manager and Power Options. I find that when I plug my joystick in it adds another USB device in device manager, and the settings has allow computer to put device to sleep no matter what I do. Asus told me that my laptop isn't compatible so downgrading isn't an option.

1. If I buy a windows 8 compatible joystick, will this problem happen again? I have a Thrustmaster T. Flight Hotas.

2. Just checking: Has anyone found a solution yet?

3. To all users that find this problem, how do you cope with it while flight simming?

4. How long does it take till windows put it to sleep without input?

Thanks,

Aaron.
