drake4896
http://www.tuttovola.org/FSmeshFree/index_download.php?req=v&dir=/Elevazioni%20per%20FS9/Europa%20FS9 I have tried using 7zip and can't get them to open. They all end in a NUMBER and not the regular 7z. What is needed to open and use these files in FS2004? Thanks Drake
shanwick
Try deleting the ".00x" after "7z" on each file name and then extract with 7zip. Do each file separately since if you look closely the only thing which makes each filename exclusive is the number after "7z". Dijvid
drake4896
Hi Dijvid I thought of that and tried a couple of them but they still will not unzip.
Jim Robinson
I've done split archives with 7zip before and that's exactly how the files come out named. Notice all the file sizes are the same too. My guess is you need to have all of the files downloaded into a common folder and then right click MeshEuropa1_LOD11.7z.001 and choose the 7zip option "open archive". drake4896
Thanks Jim for the "how to" instructions. There appears to be 2 sets of mesh. I am going to be awhile downloading all these first ... lol I think they are about 3 gig of mesh. I hope these will unzip, I will replace my current 38m and 76m mesh that I am currently using for the UK and Western Europe. It's good to be retired I've now got the time to download something like this.
lucio49
Hi all, I have downloaded the 2 sets of western european mesh, and the UK set as well. I 'm trying to unzip them, as per instructions from the designer, but I keep having error messages (file can not be opened as an archive). I have noticed something strange: the files in the download page indicate 191 Mo each. This value is also indicated in my download library (Firefox). When the download reaches 117 Mo, it indicates as completed in the library (=191 Mo), but in my destination folder it indicates 117 Mo. This happens with all the 25 files, exept for the 3 smaller ones in each set, who indicate the same value. Did anyone experienced something like this, or is my computer challenging me once more? Any help will be much appreciated. Luc
