Adding scenery...

I want to try installing the Barbados International airport scenery. I just a little unclear of something in the following instructions:

INSTALLATION

1. Create a temporary folder and Unzip the zip file into this folder.

2. Place the folder "TBPB_FSX" into your "Addon Scenery" Folder.

3. Start FS, activate your new scenery by adding the folder "TBPB" to your Scenery Library. FSX will automatically rebuild your scenery library.

6. You are now ready to fly!

Are saying to just right click inside the scenery Library and create a new folder then rename it TBPB or......is there a folder already created "somewhere" that i have to move to the Scenery Library??

Sorry for the super noob questions!

Firstly, accomplish step 1. Once you unzip the downloaded zip file into THAT, you will see a folder named "TBPB_FSX".

Copy this folder into the Add-on Scenery folder where ever your FSX game is located. D:\MSGames\FSX\Add-on Scenery, for example.

Start FSX. Go to Settings, then Scenery Library from there. Click on ADD Scenery button. On the menu presented, browse to your Add-on Scenery folder, and once in that, Left-Click on the folder named "TBPB_FSX". Click OK till you are back out to the main Settings folder, Select Create Flight from over on the left side, and if you want to go to TBPB to start, change the starting place to that.

This is the basic procedure for adding ANY scenery package.

Does this help?

Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again!

Pat's procedure is missing one step, if you are using anything other than

Win XP.

Start FSX. Go to Settings, then Scenery Library from there. Click on ADD Scenery button. On the menu presented, browse to your Add-on Scenery folder, and once in that, Left-Click on the folder named "TBPB_FSX".
