What is landclass scenery?

What is landclass scenery? Is it installed the same way as regular add-on scenery?

Landclass scenery is a more advanced way to assign specific texture overlays to scenery,w hether standard fs2k2 issue or newer after market mesh terrain. There is a payware program for creation of landclass, but you do not need a special program to use it. Installation is fairly simple. I just create a separate folder: c:\landclass
\scenery

note that there should not be a texture folder. Simply put landclass sceneries in this folder and then load it thru fs2ks's world scenery installer and away you go. To be honest, I am writing this at work and away from my home computer, so it is possible I may have left something out...but, certainly someone will come along to refine this explanation.
