shanwick
London Airport [Heathrow] as it was not long after the end of the Second World War. Trouble is, I can remember it in its early days. The "visitors enclosure" was in the open air and the wings of arriving and departing DC-4s. DC-6s, Stratocruisers and Constellations would pass over your head. Passengers would wave back at you and oh! the sound of those brakes squealing and squeaking....!!!! Dijvid
gwillmot
What scenery are you using? I can't find that version for FS2004. Is it FS2004 freeware or FS2004 payware? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
leuen
London Airport [Heathrow] as it was not long after the end of the Second World War. Thanks, very interesting. As nostalgic that looks like, for some it still was a very hard time. What scenery are you using? I can't find that version for FS2004. Is it FS2004 freeware or FS2004 payware? One your usual jokes, I suppose ... Bernard
gwillmot
Ahhh ..... now that this is in the proper home, I have to say that it was a very interesting video and a reminder of how Britain suffered and the length of time it took to recover. It's also strange to see how far we've come in a relatively short amount of time. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
