Has anyone ever heard of a utility that would keep atc transmission at a constant rate regardless of sim rate? In all seriousness, the trick is fly at normal a normal rate until you reach cruise altitude, then when ATC has you change to another frequency, acknowledge the message, but do NOT contact the next controller.
