If you've ever landed at Lindbergh Field in San Diego (KSAN) you know about the somewhat hairy approach to Runway 27 over the tall buildings of downtown San Diego with dense housing areas and busy I-5 and Pacific Highway right next to the approach end of the runway on short final

 

Here some shots of an American Eagle Saab340 commuter flight on that (in)famous route ;)

The most vivid r/w memory I have of this approach is landing in an American Airlines B720B while going to a conference in San Diego. That's about as big a plane as I think you'd want to land there :)
