ac103010
Hi. I recently installed an Air Inter A300 with 3rd party panel and sound. I have a large number or aircraft installed but this is the only one that crashes with the error, "Creation Failed check if sound file is available". By substitution I thought I'd pinned it down to the panel, which is a300b4_SGA_40 (super panel, by the way). Then, when starting another A300 with the same panel everything is ok. Now, the interesting thing is that yet another aircraft, that I've flown many times before, with a different panel, and with NO CHANGES at all I suddenly got the same error message again. Googled this but there seem to be as many possible solutions as there are people offering them. Does anyone know the definitive answer? Many thanks. andyjohnston
If it says something about a sound file, I doubt the panel has anything to do with it. If there are many people with different proposed fixes, then there is no definitive answer. I suggest you try aliasing the sound to another folder to see if that fixes the issue. StringBean
Look through the panel.cfg for a sound gauge. The telltale element will be reference to a sound.ini file. It is probably pointing to a non-existent folder. peace, the Bean WWOD---What Would Opa Do? Farewell, my freind (sp) Never argue with idiots.
