alhefner Posted October 25, 2014 Share Posted October 25, 2014 OK, I'm trying to complete the Executive tour mission where you show the VIP around Edwards AFB then follow the space shuttle in as it lands. I do OK on showing the sites but when following the space shuttle in, I fail. I'm not sure WHY I fail though. Am I supposed to put my airplane right behind the shuttle and follow it down, be to the right so he can see out the left side? Am I supposed to be even with the shuttle or some distance behind it? My only guesses at this point is that I don't get close enough to the shuttle as it lands... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
alhefner Posted October 25, 2014 Author Share Posted October 25, 2014 Wooohooo! Got it completed successfully. You do have to fly alongside the shuttle as it lands. The mission is pretty picky about a lot of things but, your final landing...not so much...as long as it's a smooth landing, it doesn't care if you actually land on a runway or not!
