    72737;

I have in the past and very recently downloaded aircraft from this great company. First off I want to tell you that what very little problems I had downloading the same aircraft as you I have nothing but the highest regard and respect for Rob and his quality of workmanship, his attitude, and willingness to help others with problems. He offered me all the help that was possible and stayed with me until the problem was solved. Not many business men will take the added time to assist their customers as Rob and his partner.

I found out the download problem I had was not at their end but at mine. I used a particular popular download medium, I found out IT was the problem. Once I removed it I used the standard Windows download system and the aircraft downloaded without any problems. Check your systems,it's not always someone elses problem.

It is possible to have download problems with any company as I have had in the past. As users and customers we should give them a chance to correct any problems before blasting them publicly. Don't be so quick to jump down someones throat. No system, or human is perfect 100% of the time. Make sure the problem isn't at your end and you have taken all possible actions
you can should a problem showup.

Let the people at RealAirSimulations work with you and you will be greatly rewarded. If you haven't flown any of their aircraft before your in for some very fine flying in very detailed aircraft professionaly done. I hope you get your problem solved soon so you can enjoy your flying experiences.

    Phil

    Hi all,
I have already apologized to Rob Young for my unacceptable behaviour in this forum. There were big problems which were overcome by now when I tried to purchase the SF 260.

I would like to apologize to all of you for my post and the way I had it written.

I was wrong!!! The language I had chosen was uncalled for and I really regret that now.

    I am very sorry.

Obviousely there is still a compability problem between the RAS server and my server, since Rob tried to email me and could not get through. However I seem to get emails from other sources just fine.

Again, please accept my sincere apologies for the grief I may have caused in this forum.- Mea culpa.

Thank you for your public apology, and for your private one earlier.

You know, rash posts on this forum, whilst not perhaps meaning to, can do almost unrepairable damage to a small developer. People tend to remember controversial statements and do not always heed retractions. Of course, like everyone else's, our service is not perfect and there are so many different setups, e-mail settings, download settings etc that however hard one tries there are bound to be glitches here and there.

But in the vast majority of cases our customers get very close support from us. We are even more willing to offer this when customers at least contact us in person before sounding off in forums without justification. I have made posts about other developers myself, but I always send an e-mail first and wait a while before making rash public posts I may later regret.

In fact once you entered the required info when purchasing your download and installation went fine, and from your comments you seem to like the aircraft.

I do thank you for your timely apology and sincerely hope that you enjoy the aircraft for a long time.

    Regards,

    Rob Young
