    Default Traffic Tools Question!!

Hi. Im currently working on a new AI traffic project which involves me using AFCAD to add ATC to 'closed' airports so I can use them for AI traffic.

Now I want to add my 'new' airport to my 'airports.txt' file. Thing is where do I get the 'airport location' info from??

    eg:- CYHZ,N44* 53.05',W63* 30.46',476

Any help would be appreciated, :-)

    Thanks!!

Hit SHIFT+Z and theres your cordinates, make sure your at the airport. Name your airport KABC for example, and save.

When I am modifying an airport with gates, taxiways, runways, etc. in AFCAD, I have fs2002 running. Why, so I can move around the airport, switch between AFCAD and fs2002 to see exactly were I just moved. Make sure you deselect "Pause on task switch" under General settings. You might also select zero percent AI, so you quit bumping into taxiing AI.

Lastly, If you need the coordinate of your airport, use Map View. Open map view, select your airport, and read the LAT/LON.

In AFCAD just right click on the white space around an airport (or the pink spiky dot - forgot which). The lat and long will be right there.

    Hope this helps,
