Removing old graphics card drivers

After 6 weeks of frustration i have finally given up and returned my Asus GF4TI4200 back to the shop to be tested as i just could not get it to run reliably, constant screen blackouts and crashes. In the meantime im having to run with a kyro2 4500,well at least its stable in my machine and i dont have to keep worrying when the next crash is coming.My question is this, i did not remove the old asus GForce drivers before i took the asus card out and now with the kyro in it wont allow me to remove them as the asus card is not installed, is there a way around this.Thanks for any advice.

Operating System..?

If it's W98SE or ME then use Detonator Destroyer. If not you'll have to manually remove all file references from the Windows\System, Windows\Inf\Other and the Registry. Have a shuftie at www.guru3d.com which has a couple of `removing Dets` instructions sets.

If you're using a Kyro card after removing an Asus GF it's a bloody miracle you haven't got serious problems..!

Cheers Simon all sorted now, oh and the only miracle around here is the fact that i have refrained from smashing my computer into a million pieces this last 6 weeks.
