Default Menu and Mouse Problems... Please help!

Hi there. I recently got a new computer with WindowsXP installed. And for some reason, I can't access the menu in FS2002 when in fullsreen mode. Also the mouse-cursor is "flickering" around. Is this a problem with FS2002 running on WindowsXP?
I have a GeForce4 GraphicCard, and tried all settings, but the promlem didn't go away.
    Also I installed Dreamfleet's 737-400 and A320 /19 /21. Maybe there's the problem?...

    Thynx for help,

    Stu

Default Can help ya on one of your problems.....

I don't know much, if anything about Win XP, but in full screen mode, hit Ctrl to bring up the menu bar ( works for Win 98...and I'm assuming it'll work on any Win version, it's a FS2002 key command ).

Sorry 'bout the flickerin' mouse thing....no idea there.

    Best Regards,

    Bob

    Stu,

Windows XP has no adverse effects on FS-2002. I've been running that configuration for a year now just fine.

I thought you press the Alt key to get the menu, not CTL. I don't remember because I run FS-2002 in a windowed mode.

Have you installed all of the updates to WinXP? That could make a difference.

    Default RE: Yep.......

Thanks folks, but after some years of FS flying, i'm aware of the function of the ALT key. But the problem is, that the program seems to swich into menu-mode without showing the menu. The same when i hit "ü" for saving my flight, the cursor turns into this "text-editing" mode whe I'm over a certain area (where normally the flight-name-save-dialog should be shown) but I can't see anything.
I guess I'll try to update WinXP. There is no BugFix or Path file for FS2002 like in FS2000, isn't there?

Thanks anyway for the fast response...

i managed to fix that mouse cursor problem (for anybody who has the same): you must not select a 3D cursor sceme in mouse settings. keep it 2D.

about that menu problem: i've read that increasing the FSAA level in your graphic-card settings to 4X will fix it. i've tried it, and it worked. one time! i guess i have to try several more times...
