Actually, I was responding to what Lou had written as I had just read it myself. And that is why I directed it to Lou. :-)

Then I perused the Hangar Forum, and Liked what I saw. I also made a suggestion here:

What I didn't realize was that a forum existed. Lou pointed it out.

So why not create a new Hangar Talk forum to co-exist with the other forums, and require users to post their full names under each post. That is what Chris Requires in "The Old Hangar" which seems to work just fine, does it not?

Seems like a decent, logical, common sense thing to do.

All that would be occuring is a tehnological upgrade. The forum allowing Political, Religious, and Philosophical speech already exists at Flightsim, and Nels has allowed it to exist. It is just harder to find.

So what I am suggesting does not conflict with what already exists at Flightsim. True, factual, and nothing new. :-)

I did suggest a completely new forum. I suggested this before I read what Lou had written.

So my suggestion still stands. Johan Replied to it, and Brian recognized it.

That was it and that is where I stand. Unless you are now telling me I am not allowed to make reasoned suggestions like the mods were asking for. ;-)

All I'm saying, is that Nels does not wish to host another forum of the style and nature of the Hangar Talk. I've not suggested that you cannot make your suggestions. Just stating the facts as I know them through my conversations with Nels. His intent in the FlightSimNetwork Forums is that they all be aviation/simulation related. I inquired as to the possibility of an R/C Aircraft Forum here, and the answer was the same. Real Aviation and Simulation related forums. That's it, plain and simple.

Suggestions are fine, but don't look for any forums of an off topic nature, cause it just ain't gonna happen.
