Thread: Telluride, CO

  1. Default RE: Telluride, CO

Great skiing and Great beer too! Cant beat a good Colorado microbrew. One of my fondest memories is of sitting in a hot tub on the roof of a building in telluride at night with a beer in one hand and a cigar in the other. It was about 5 degrees F outside and snowing like mad but I was toasty!

How do you order your mesh? I searched your site thoroughly and found no pricing information nor any link to initiate a purchase.

    Hi Robert,

Thanks! It sounds like I need to reorganize a bit.

Go to the Products page, then select the link (I've made them bolder) for the group you are interested in. This will take you to the order pages.

    Thanks again,

I have found that file several different places online, including right here http://www.flightsim.com/kdl.php?fid=45933. Every copy is identical -- corrupt! WinZip complains that the main file (tex30m10.bgl) has a CRC error, and is one byte larger when extracted than the header says it should be. Using various tools and methods to "recover" or force extraction of the file, I have been unable to get a good copy. When attempting to view it with LWMViewer 1.4 or 2.0, the program crashes. Installing the mesh doesn't hurt Flight Simulator 2002, but it doesn't change the default terrain mesh either.

Does anyone have a KNOWN GOOD copy of this file?

I downloaded the file from your link to check if it is corrupt. Winzip opens and unzips with no errors. Using Winzip 15.

Thanks for the info. I tried WinZip 10 and 7-Zip and got essentially the same errors. DiskInternals ZIP Repair was unable to fix the file. Since it's extremely unlikely for 3 programs to have the same bug (unless based on the same code), and I tried the same file from multiple sources, at first I was sure the original file was bad. Then, not finding any problem reports using Google made me second-guess, thinking that maybe I had a buggy/bad CPU or Math Co-Processor. But today I used Universal Extractor and got a good copy. So now I'm not sure where the glitch is, but at least I have the file.
