Default GPS and the Default panels

How does one get the GPS to Drive NAV1 on the generic heavy panels from the FSFCONV folder?

Most are not using the FSFCONV folder arrangement anymore because of the plethora of excellent panel available for download. If you are set on using these panels, then you will need to add the NAV/GPS switch to the panel somewhere there is space. Once you have this switch, you place the NAV/GPS switch to the GPS position and the Autopilot NAV switch to ON. You also have to be using the Autopilot.

Look at B737-400 for the placement of the NAV/GPS switch.
