Is prepar3D a better choice than FSX? Has google earth ever been used for scenery?

GE has been tried in FSX with varied results, most of them not too good. I also believe that now GE requires license for use in any 3rd party program.

Better choice? You'll get varied opinions. many from folks who have never tried P3D - I say yes, definitely a better choice if only because it is still under development and not a dead product. Don't get me wrong, FSX still has a lot of life, especially with talented 3rd party developers who keep making great add-ons BUT the core product is a dead horse and sooner or later, you have to stop beating it. P3D is continually being improved.

ROFLMAO! It's hell to get old! I'm just new to the mod stuff. Someone posted a question in the screenshot forum and I 'thought' I moved it here to the main forum and then answered. Don't know where it went.

edit: ok I think I've got it!!
