Default PMDG 737NGX causes FSX to crash/ "fatal error".

    Hey all,

I just got my new rig and I am quite amazed with it however I am having a problem with the PMDG 737NGX. Everytime I select the aircraft, there is a brief pause and then I get a "Flight Simulator X has encountered a fatal error..." message and then crashes. It only does it with this aircraft. All default planes are working fine as is the rest of the sim. Operating system is Windows 8 64 bit.

Are you using ENB series with FSX? I had issues with the NGX ENBSERIES and I think PMDG talks about it in their forum.

It actually doesn't seem to be related to the PMDG aircraft. It seems to be doing it with everything. I had Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 and Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 installed at the same time. Is it possible this is causing the issues?

I'm wondering if the aircraft installed properly. Maybe it needs to be installed in a compatibility mode or something like that.

    Lol!

But I agree with Jim. You guys should start by registering at PMDG's forums and ask there.

Funny, that I don't have any issues with PMDG aircraft... ,
I could never get fligh1's B200 to work more than 5 minutes, and can't get ESDG's Citation X to run more than 10 minutes, but PMDG's no problems...
