Thread: Why login twice each time?

Default Why login twice each time?

Everytime I log in, why do I have to log in twice.
I try to log in, get message login/password invalid.
When I login again, using same login and password it accepts.
This is not a one-time thing, it's been like this since I signed up!
I KNOW I'am using the correct login info.

It happens to me on occasion! I just say a few swear words and try it a second time. If you read the help section on Log in you will see that actually you never have to log out if you don't want to.

Can youi not select "Remember Me"(?) so you don't have to log in each time?

You don't need "remember me", that is actually automatic. If you do not intentionally logout you will remained logged in--forever!

Your login details are stored in a cookie on your computer. As long as that cookie is present you are logged in. If you click the logout button on the web site the cookie gets deleted but really there is no need to do this. The cookie may also get deleted by using tools in your browser or security software you run, but all of this is completely under your own control.

I'll just login twice if I have to. I don't want cookies on my pc.

Then you'll find your use of the internet will be limited.

Unless you clean them every time you log off from the Internet, then you have cookies already on your PC.
    Thanks,

It's a bummer if you don't want cookies. Every place you go to whether it online banking, checking your utility payments online any accounts you have will set cookies and it will kind of mess with you if you clear them each time especially travel sites or any online reservations.

    That one was good

You don't want cookies? Well, which browser do you use? Maybe the settings of it don't allow cookies etc.

(I think that could be a reason).
