The weather was absolutely fabulous on Saturday in Fall City, Washington. The sunshine was beaming down on everything, the leaves were gently blowing in the soft breezes and life was good. A bright yellow Cessna 172N Skyhawk was available for hire, and I wanted to experience the area from the air... so away I went for an early afternoon flight around the Fall City area.
Microsoft FSX Deluxe Gold-EditionThey really need to cut the grass near the runway... the weeds are a little high in places.
Ah, there is my airplane again... I thought I lost it for a moment, but that would be crazy!
How could you lose this airplane, right? LOL
Just taxiing past the tall weeds as I head towards the end of the runway.
The countryside is so beautiful here, and I had the window open to enjoy the summer breezes.
It's a tight turn in the Skyhawk... it took me 2 tries to get it right.
Pushing the throttle to the wall as the plane begins to roll...
A truly beautiful mid-afternoon take-off.
The picturesque Snoqualmie Falls is visible in the background as the airplane climbs above the crowded houses of the neighborhoods on the ridge opposite the small private airport.
One thing's for dead certain... you can't lose this particular airplane very easily in the air.
Just cruisin' around the area enjoying the scenery below.
Doing some steep turns high over the mountainous ridges near the valley.
Thanks for viewing the pictures. ~Glenn
