Anyone know how to make the turn radius of the Cessna 172 sharper when taxiing? I'm sure it is in the CFG somewhere but not sure.
Thanks!

On the [contact_points]. Look for the nose gear point (you may find it seeing the coordinates and steering angle), and change the steering angle to (maybe) 30 degrees. This is what RealAir uses for their 172 FDE.

The default C-172 will turn within its own wingspan, if you are going slow and use the toe brakes correctly.
I've never turned a real one that sharply. My instructors complained about stressing the tires. Unlike FS, the school has to pay for damaged tires.

In the following example, the 8th position says that, in this case, the nose wheel will turn to 45 degrees.

In Flight Sim, under Options - Controls - Assignments - Brakes (apply Right) = 0 & Brakes (apply Left) = 9
Using differential braking and engine power is the most realistic way of sharply turning an airplane while slowly taxiing, and using the nose wheel/rudder to guide - NOT force the turn.

If it doesn't have a prop, it's not a real airplane!
