Default A display problem with FS9

My name is Gerray; I would greatly appreciate some assistance with problems I have with with my FS9.

My problems started one evening when my system would not start FS9 stating that FS could not find the default flight file.......then the message was that FS was trying to load the default flight.
No success......Then there was another message stating that my system had duplicate copies of FSUIPC installed.....then given the directrive to remove the old copies and never simply rename modules, to move them out of the modules folder.
I am not certain how to proceed.
Now onto my next and present problem.......
I am not certain what I have done but I was able to start FS9 BUT I now experience the following problems:PS..I have three monitors in my system....
the system now has a display problem: I no longer can see the options at the top of the screen ???????on my monitor
secondly when I am in the cockpit of an aircraft I no longer am able to undock portions of the cockpit to the other monitors
    Am I beyond help ????

It sounds like you are in full screen mode, which would be typical of a rebuilt FS9.cfg after the sim crashed.

You should get the menu bar back by pressing the Alt key.

Not being able to undock windows is another symptom of full screen mode.

Try holding down the Alt key and pressing the Enter key to enter into windowed mode.

    Greetings "Stringbean "
I wantt express my gratitude.......YOUR SUGGESTION HAS SOLVED MY PROBLEM !!!!!!
I am certain that you have already deduced that I am limited with technical savy with FS. I am a senior (70 yrs old) in terms of age but a newbe (6 yrs ) in terms of FS experience. When I started, I consulted "OPA" numerous numerous times right up to the end !!!!!!
In the beginning I also came in contact with a very smart and most generous person: "HERB MORSE ( AKA...LIZARDO) we became very good friends.....he was my personal FS guru !!!!!!. Unfortunately Herb passed away due to cancer two years ago....... We use to have FS lessons bi-weekly etc..... I really miss my friend.
Again thank you for your support
Gerry Bigras ( from East Aldfield, Quebec Canada !!!! )

I am glad you have it fixed.

I also want to say I admire your choice of friends.

Opa and Herb were both flight sim community stalwarts whose absence is felt, daily.

    peace,
