Default Nothing like a good flight re-creation! (Manfred Jahn's Connie)

I did this flight from Kadena AFB, Okinawa to Osan AFB, Korea back in 1992 while in the USMC in a C-130. Thought I'd fly a military version of Manfred Jahn's Connie though, one of my favorite planes for FSX. The first shot is over an island just south of Japan and the second shot is over southern Japan following the VOR's at FL16.

Very nice !!! When you flew that route in '92'.....on the C-130s'....that was what we called the "milk run".....sometimes including hops through Yokota AB. Many years earlier......I flew on the MATS Connie...TRAVIS-HICKAM-ANDERSEN-CLARK.

That's awesome Roach! They also flew us up to Camp Fuji for field training I guess we would have flown in to Yokota? I really loved flying back then I'd try to go back to that small window in the C-130 to get a look out.

Thanks Fellas for those not familiar there was a flyable L-749 in MATS livery that used to tour the airshows. Unfortunately it was offered for sale with no takers and eventually flown to Korea it was given to them in 2005. They put it on static display and parted the engines out. If you want to read a sob story go to Connie Survivors web site and read about it. I think the only other flyable L-749 is in Europe. I wish John Travolta would have bought the old bird before it was given away!
