AGP? This is what I use: http://www.hisdigital.com/un/product2-535.shtml
It's more expensive than all other AGP cards, but, it is the fastest, most advanced AGP card available to date.
Also if you are using Win Vista/7 there is a new AGP driver on the AMD site...Don

    I've cracked it everyone!!

It turns out the problem was in my BIOS as the AGP aperture (where the graphics card is and uses its specified memory) was only at 50% operation - 128mb in my case, instead of the full 256mb.

Since changing that, my average fps are now 80 and thats still with all display settings maxed and VFR Scenery use with great detail!!

Thanks again to everyone for their help and advice.

I hope to build more flightsim experience now and hopefully help others like you guys helped me.

    Good flying to you all.

More important than what type of video card you use is the amount of system ram, and most importantly how much video ram you have.
The GPU used certainly does matter. A bottom end video card isn't going to run much better if you give it a large amount of video RAM compared to a faster GPU with the same amount of memory.
