  1. Default GEX Install

Ok I am a rookie here so bare with me. I have downloaded the GEX North America version. It is extracted and now I have the GEX-NorthAmerica.000 and GEX NorthAmerica.ddf, and not a clue what to do with them. I tried to find answers here and on Flight1 site but no clear answers. Can anyone render some assistance it would be much appreciated. Thanks

    Will this help at all?

Download both files below, then start the Downloader tool and select the GEX-NorthAmerica.ddf file. Make sure you save the GEX-NorthAmerica.000 file to the exact same folder as the GEX-NorthAmerica.exe file. Run GEX-NorthAmerica.exe after everything is downloaded to start the purchase or reinstall process.

You have put them on your hard drive now you must run the installer. You must run the purchase program. If you have done that then do the reinstall option. You will then be able to open the installer where you actually back up your existing textures and load the gex files in it's place. Just a side note. This is really a great add on if your pc will run it. It should as the files are the same size as the original. But, remember, if you want to install gex europe as well or think you might, you MUST install europe FIRST. Not that you must, but it is much easier process if you do. You don't have to. But if you install europe later it s a few more steps involved to sync them up.

Sweet thanks for the help. I didn't rerun the exe file. I will go load it up here in a minute. My machine should run it no problem I have most of the sliders just shy of maxed out without any glitching so far. So even if I need to turn it down a bit no big deal.
